Aura

The Aura or also known as the electromagnetic field. it is ovoid in shape. The Widest part is around the head and the narrowest part is under the feet. The Aura is made up of Seven layers or bodies. Each of these layers interpenetrates and works with the others. The Layers consist of the physical, etheric, astral, lower mental, higher mental, casual and spiritual bodies.

The Spiritual body is the outer layer of the aura and represents the divine or true self. It is the aspect of each individual which knows no beginning and no ending-the essence of that ultimate reality which we call God or Universal Consciousness.

Next lies the causal body. This contains the record of all our previous lives, plus the reason for our present incarnation. When we reincarnate, we bring with us the knowledge of the path that we have chosen to walk and the challenges we have selected to meet. Unfortunately, from the moment of birth we are subject to conditioning which makes us forget our life plan-like leaving the map behind and having to find our way without it.

The Fifth layer is the higher mental body.It is at this level that we are able to get in touch with our intuition.

One of life's tasks is learning to listen to and trust this quiet inner voice, especially when using colour with reflexology. When we are able to tune in to our intuition, making the right decisions becomes easier, and this helps us to find and walk along our chosen path. Unfortunately, few people as yet have acquired this ability.

The fourth layer is the lower mental body. It is fillied with constantly canging thought forms. Every thought we have-and the rest of humanity-have, creates a form or shape. If we think negative thoughts they will attract other negative thought forms, and thereby amplify the original thought. In the same way postitive thoughts will attract positive thoughts. For this reason, it is most important to be aware of our negativity and endeavour to change it into positive thinking. This may be difficult at first, but with patience, practise and determination, it can be acheived.

The third layer is the astral body, which has a connection with our emotions, in highly emotional people.this layer is constantly fluctuating and therefore in a state of imbalance. As we walk into the next millennium and confront the challenges and changes that it will bring, it is important that we learn to master our emotions, and not let our emotions become the master of us.

Closest to the physical body-the first body-lies the etheric body. This layer is the blue-print for the physical body, and disentegrates with it at death. It is in the etheric body that disease starts and can be "seen" or "felt" as an accumulation of energy in the wrong place. If this is not eradicated, it iwll ultimately manifest itself as a disorder in the physical body. The etheric body contains the chakras and nadis. The nadis are energy channels and are connected with the nervous system. The chakras are energy centres, wheels of rotating energy which absorb prana, or life force, from the atmosphere, break it up, and distrubute it through the nadis to the nervous system, endocrine glands and circulatory system.

Every Person is surrounded by an Aura. Composed of Seven Auric Bodies.
